  I think it's that Tribe itself is becoming dull...ever since they sold out to Knight-Ridder, it's started to die an agonizingly slow death. It was fun when it was a community-oriented thing, but now that everything feels " watched", people are participating online here less. I basically show up to find the occasional event or talk to a friend. After that, I'd rather be exciting in the real world.

    actually, this tribe has never ever been very exciting.
    I moderate a neighborhood tribe in SF and it is thriving.
    hard to say why some take off and others don't.
    
    But yes, tribe has a certain wave of deathliness at times.

  actually, we just don't have much to discuss i guess. I mean. Online flirting is only so intresting and then talking about what? gender politics or what not on tribe? beh.
  I guess "dyke-dom" is more something we have in common, not a common intrest.
