  1) Great places to hang out in Belmont and/or Alberta areas.
  2) Meet Portland people.
  3) Go to Powell's Books - Gigantic, downtown, very cool.
  4) Go dancing (I like Crush on Morrison: www.crushbar.com/ )
  5) Hiking in plush green forests
  6) Columbia Gorge and its waterfalls...
