Ok I am in the single scene again and i was wondering, I am 38, what age range is should I limit myself too? I was thinking 28-48? Any ideas on this?

you can be 28 but the mentality of a 40 yr old.
or 40 with a 28 yr old mentality.
I've always like the 3 up 3 down rule.
(3 years older or younger than me)
I have always found the most fun from people of my generation.
Now in my early 40's, I cant relate to anyone under 37 ish really.
and I dont really wanna deal with the early menopause of someone late 40's.
Specially since I'll be there soon enough.
After all these years, I finally come to conclude that I like dating people my own age or a tad bit older. -

Like for me I am 43, I was trying to figure that out myself.
I decided I would say 34 to 49, once again it depends of how the person acts, do we click, ect. -

(I'm 35) I think it's a bit more challenging for her but she is happy too. -

Mon, November 5, 2007 - 12:52 PMAlthough my serious long-term partners have usually been within about five years of my age, I've dated people 20 years younger than me, and 20 years older. Their chronological age has nothing to do with whether I find them attractive, or vice versa.
I agree, a 20-year-old may be 'hot,' but if they can't sustain a conversation for 10 minutes I'm not going to find them attractive.

Tue, November 6, 2007 - 4:04 PMi have had limited relationships, but people that i am attracted to go for a relationship are usually within 5 years up or down. but am surrounded by folks that are early 20's. havent been terribly interested in dating many of them, a few that had a significant chance, but just havent worked out. at some point, i tend to not want to pursue someone who is 10 or more years younger than me.
i am open to being with someone who is more than my specified age limits.
