Was wondering if anyone could suggest a clean, reasonable, (80-175 a night) SF hotel in the Mission/Valencia district, preferably on the Dyke march path or close by, for the upcoming SFGay Pride celebration?
Or, any great hotels in the area close by?
Have routinely stayed on the Union Square side of town and would like a change.
If this post would be better on seperate tribe please let me know.

Lots of people book at the Central Travelodge on Valencia and Market, so look early...also try the Mosser on 4th and Market. Not Mission District but nice. The new Elements Hostel on Mission Street is really the only travellers' accomodation in the Mission I'm aware of, besides B&Bs. 95% of the hotels in the Mission are residential. Can anyone recommend Elements? I am a block away so obviously I've never stayed there.. -

Tue, May 2, 2006 - 11:00 AMnot sure how clean or good, but there is Becks Motorlodge in the Castro on Market street - can't get more central than that. It will completely book for pride weekend, so you should call soon. -
